Brief Overview of the Different Accuquilts Machines and Which One Might Be Best for You.
Let me be clear--an Accuquilt Machine is an investment for a want and possibly a need. I wanted one but didn't necessarily need one. But after getting it--I realized how much easier and enjoyable sewing was for me.
I learned to love how preciseness in cuts creates less havoc and frustration when sewing my pieces together. I now love applique and making my own fabric 5", 10", 12" bundles out of my fabric stash. I used to buy those bundles--they can be really pricey too.
It is all about--FINDING YOUR JOY AND WHAT FLOATS YOUR BOAT. But hang with me even if you dont have an Accuquilt or dont ever plan on buying one--because we will explore so many different ways and options to sewing in the future SEW SATURDAYS. I have started a subscribe so you dont miss out on the FUN. BEST PART--IT IS FREE.
ACCUQUILT has O% financing for one year and comes in various sizes with a large selection of bundles--better news it is on sale with free shipping. Never have to replace the blades, mats last a very long time--I havent had to replace mine yet--starting to look a little rough but still works.
Go! Me Fabric Cutter is the smallest size comes with 2 dies (3" half triangle and 3" finished square), 6" x 6" cutting mat and 5 free patterns.
Go! Fabric Cutter has three different starter bundles to get you up and going in no time.
Accuquilt Studio 2 Fabric Cutter has a three kinds to choose from: Best Sellers Starter Set, Studio 2 Precuts Starter Set, and Studio Rag Quilt Started Set.
Then there is the GO! Big Electric Fabric Cutter Starter Set: This really is the ultimate machine. I finally broke down and bought one. I spend a small fortune in rotary blades, not to mention the carple tunnel pain after hours of cutting. These machines do your cutting in the fraction of time so you can get to the fun part--sewing.
Now for the FUN Part: Choosing your die set(s)
Accuquilt has really come a long way in the last decade and has created some lovely die sets--I want them all :) but...they can be pricey. Right now there is a huge sale going on.
Die Cutter Bundles You could make some really cute personalized gifts.

Die Cutter Bundles These will ensure the perfect cut to make a quilt block--perfect cuts are key--even a scant off in your cut can bring chaos to your sewing. Not all quilts are perfect--but I love it when the blocks line up--makes sewing more enjoyable.

Die Cutter Bundles--I have the flower bundle--next week we will explore how to Applique, I used to hate to applique until I started using cork leather, vinyl, & wool--so easy and FUN.

Die Cutter Bundles--they even have emojis--who would have thought. I love it.

Die Cutter Bundles You can make your own perfect 5" blocks out of your fabric stash or scarps for a scrappy quilt.

Well you get the idea--WE ARE GOING TO HAVE SOOOO MUCH FUN IN THE UPCOMING MONTHS. Subscribe--it is free you don't miss out on the fun.
