Ho Ho Holiday - Cotton Thread Set - - 8 Spools, 180 Yard 850050367222

SKU: B963

The Madam Sew, Ho Ho Holiday, Cotton Thread Set consists of eight holiday thread colors. They will work well with this year’s Christmas, winter, and Hanukkah fabrics. Plus, if you have left over red, white, and green thread, you can use it with Valentine’s and St. Patrick’s Day fabrics. This is a limited release set so it is available only as long as supplies last.

The thread is made of 100% long-staple, mercerized cotton. This is important as you’ll get less lint which means less fuzz building up at your needle and less thread breakage. Because it is cotton thread, it won’t be overly shiny and you’ll also be able to use it for any application where the end project will go in a microwave (think Bowl Cozy or Potato Sack).

If you are looking for a quilt thread that will add depth, texture, dimension and pop to your quilt top then this thread set is a must to try. The 50s/3 thread is made of three 50wt plies and has a final weight of 30. It’s thicker than thin 50wt threads so it won’t melt into the background. Instead, your quilting will have an opportunity to shine and your project will be strong enough to hold up to repeated washing or wear.

If you sew and want the feel of cotton or a thread that helps your decorative stitches stand out, try this set in your next project. It’s also nice for topstitching too!.

We also carry a neutral thread set: Sand & Stone if you need something more blendy for your non-holiday projects.
